Mark Nugent ----- Event 1 Winner

Mark Nugent (Armagh) played fast attacking pool on Saturday past (Saturday 23rd May) at the Coach Inn venue Omagh to win the first qualifying event in the Riley’s £10,000 individual event only open to Genuine Amateur Irish Players from north of the south of the border........


Mark who is better known throughout the 32 counties for his fantastic skills on the snooker table, and who is starting to make regular appearances in 8ball pool tournaments organised by Ireland’s Pub Players 8Ball Pool Tour where their is no doubt he will be a major winner in the tours events as well as being a handful for any top player, playing his brilliant attacking style which is a treat to watch........


Mark receives a straight entry into the £10,000 Grand-Finals in September (dates & venue TBC) with the total prize-money listed below up for grabs after the Armagh cueist defeated Ronnie Boyle (Tyrone) in the final on a 6-4 score-line with his other victories coming against Brian Sheridan (5-0), Daryl Beattie (5-2) and Richard Comiskey (5-2) to secure a place in the Grand-Finals.......

Semi-Finals: £625 each
