Ireland's American 8 & 9 Ball Pool Tour organised its 4th annual " IRELAND'S 9-BALL CHALLENGE CUP " yesterday Saturday 30th April held in Donaldson's Snooker & Pool Club Enniskillen Co.Fermanagh with the tournament only open to eligible Irish players who play of +3 and +4 handicaps on the Irish 9-Ball Tour.

Congratulations to Daryl Beattie who played superb pool throughout the tournament to be crowned champion retaining his title he won 12 months ago defeating up and coming young player Tiernan McSorley in the final with Daryl holding his nerve in the final rack to secure a fantastic 10-9 victory the claim the title for the second time.

Well done to Daryl on retaining his title and also congratulations to young Tiernan McSorley on reaching the final storming through his group to reach the knock-out stages defeating Owenie McMenamin 9-2 in the 1/4-finals and followed that up with a 10-6 victory over Cian Groogan in the semi-finals before losing to the inform Daryl Beattie in the final 10-9.

Thanks to all the players who took part in the 2016 Ireland's 9-Ball Challenge Cup and specially to all the new players who competed in a 9-ball event on Ireland's American 8 & 9 Ball Pool Tour for the first time and another big thank you to Donaldson's Snooker & Pool Club Enniskillen who are Irish 9-Ball Tour sponsors and great supporters of Ireland's American 8 & 9 Ball Pool Tour all over the years.
